Among the worst hit have been the fishing villages of Seruthur, Kameswaram, Vizhundumavadi, Vanavanmahadevi, Vellepallam and Pushpavanam, comprising over 10,000 households. This is a time for the best in humanity to shine through the dark times that have engulfed this region.
